Games Games Games

Let's face it - personal computers were origonally game machines and we still use them for games a good deal of the time.

What is your favorite game?
  Is it a great old standard like Solitaire?
  Is an online game played with friends like Scrabulous?
  How about Facebook games like Farmville - ever tried it?

Do you think computer games can be addicting?
  Have you ever been hooked on one?

    A day is not complete without a good game (or many) of Spider Solitaire. I love it! And I have been known to raise a crop or two on Facebook Farmville.
    Yes, I think these games can be addicting. At one time I almost lost my happy home to a game called Tetris..... had to give that one up or be single.

      I have played this, too, for years. My winning percentage is 17.8 - not great, IMO. I find it relaxing and challenging at the same time.

    I play duplicate bridge on line with live people and it is a lot of fun. I meet many friendly and nice folks.

    No one gushing about Angry Birds?? It's loads of fun and makes the aged mind pick up. Great fun. Also, I love Mah Jong,Myst,Perfect Partner Bridge, Bridge Baron, etc. Parachute Jump is rediculous but quick fun, and Collapse a treat. Try them! Joan de Ganahl
